- Feed to chipper blade: Chipper Will pull in branch with brush as it makes contact with one of the 2 blades on 400Kg chipping drum –
- Blades: 2x High quality 12mm thick 2 sharp sided
- has also been hardened from 47 to 58 HRC in oil and salt bath @ 1040 deg centegrade.
- Can also be sharpened up to 5 times on each edge (10x Edges)
- weighs 2.8 kg with dimensions 26.6 cm (L) x 12.7 cm(W) x 1.27 cm (Thick)
- Anvil: 4 sided with locater bolts as well as locking in position bolts
- Blade mounting in drum: With 4x fine thread HD bolts through single 4 holed locking plate — Unique to Ritlee 225
- Drum: 400Kg Dynamically precision balanced 12mm side wall and 10mm drum wall on 50mm carrier shaft
- Drum has sealable bleeder hole for discharge of water if it gets into drum to maintain perfect balance.
- Drum Drive: 4x B Section V-Belts so large tractors can be used
- Chassis Carrier : 2,5mm rectangular steel profile
- Double reinforced at drive area. Slotted at all tensioning and setting areas
- Mounted on 2x Slasher type skid runners for ease of transport and strength of construction
- Production average: 12 to 16 cu meter per hour (Grinding obviously lower)
- Minimum Power Requirements: Tractor with 40Kw and larger
- Discharge: Discharge rotatable 360 deg with flapper
Can also be fitted with 30Kw Electric Motor which is ideal for Sawmill Waste, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus and Lavender Chippings.
