Over the last few years we at Ritlee have put a good number of various sized shredders both into the SA, over our border and lately into the Macadamia nut industry in Australia.

Different sizes of slow speed shredders are used for different purposes and applications. Some factors that affect the choice of shredder size are:

• The type and volume of material to be shredded
• The desired output size and quality of the shredded material
• The torque required to do the shredding of the product itself.
• The power consumption and maintenance requirements of the shredder
