XT1400 – 800 horizontal grinder from Ritlee. Fitted with:

  • Rotor 900mm diameter 35mm thick fitted with 28 replaceable tungsten lined Hammers
  • Overall size of grinder: 2150mm x 8760mm x 2800mm fitted with 1400mm x 800mm feed inlet
  • Water cooled 330HP(equal with 247KW efficiency) with 1800rpm running speed with on board generator and clutch.
  • Production throughput averages some 20 to 25 tons per hour through 50mm screen

Discharge belt:

There are two options available one of which is part of the quoted selling price to you!

  • 7 meter if foldable using on board hydraulics this for transport mode
  • 10 meter if not foldable for fixed position mode
  • Belt 1,200 wide ribbed or flat

Central control for all functions,

Optional remote control:

There is a central control cabinet(box) for the operation of the grinder, such as feeding ON/OFF, discharge ON/OFF, feeding backward(withdraw), Oil pump ON/OFF, Master Stop, it is controlled by pressing the buttons on the central cabinet(box).

Customer also has choice for adding the wireless remote control, which means the operation could control the machine both by the buttons and by the wireless remote control. But the price for adding this optional wireless device is $500.

Choice of heads is possible, but only at original order

One of these to be ordered at time of order– cannot be changed later!

  • Note feed roller which rides onto material being fed is a pivoting roller with 4x Hydraulic pistons  located in front of this grinder rotor

Engine functions:     Main Function:

  • The drum rotor is driven by the diesel engine directly with the pulley belt.
  • The diesel engine has clutch system for this main drum rotor.
  • To run a on board generator (30 to 40kw) (This starts up automatically when main engine starts up!)
    • To drive Feed conveyer 5.5Kw + 4Kw
    • To drive Discharge conveyer 5.5Kw + 3Kw
    • To drive Hydraulics system

Transport wheels fitted:

  • 3x axles with 2 industrial quality wheels — this all rear of Horizontal grinder
  • Each wheel has air activated braking system .
  • Front of unit fitted with 5th wheel towing arrangement

Safety features built into Horizontal Grinder:

When grinding and a large contaminant (eg stone) is encountered,

  1. The safety stop nylon bars will break.
  2. The anvil and steel base anvil bolted to will drop.– will switch off machine — this helps to protect rest of machine from any possible damage caused by contaminant!
  3. At this stage clean out the stone or contaminant through dropped out anvil and mounting block opening!
  4. Change the safety stop nylon bars (either 2 large or 6 small diameter nylon bars)
    1. Smaller bars do hold anvil and block very snug and tight.
  5. Machine ready to restart
